Woven Journey
Woven Journey was written in 2022 and commissioned for Lyndelle Newey by her partner Alex to mark her milestone birthday and celebrate their shared journey. The sections of the piece represent stages along the journey of life and capture the weaving relationship pathways. While Lyndelle has played horn professionally (and continues to be active in the Australian freelance scene), she is also a talented and creative quilter who runs her own longarm quilting business.
