Reverie

Reverie is a single movement, multi sectional piece that is very accessible, yet rewarding. It starts with a slower, more contemplative opening, followed by an energetic and temultuous middle. The piece ends similar to how it begins, but with a greater sense of closure and resolution.

This piece was premiered at the 2012 IHS Symposium in Denton, TX by Michelle Stebleton and Lisa Bontrager of MirrorImage.

"(Reverie) is a five-minute piece that audiences will definitely enjoy since it plays to one of the horn's best strengths: long, lush melodies." -Jeffrey Snedeker, Horn Call October 2012
