Primary Ignition
Written as the required piece for the first round of the 2013 Southeast Horn Workshop's solo competition, Primary Ignition is a concise but jam-packed solo piece designed to test all aspects of horn playing. The piece is split into three main sections, the first being quick and in tempo, the second allowing for more rubato and expression, and the third slowly accelerating into the exciting conclusion.
